Connect the AC rapid charging plug into the socket at the base of the phone and plug it into a standard 120 volt AC outlet. A red LED will appear to indicate charging is in progress. The battery should be charged before using the phone for the first time. Batteries last longer and perform better when allowed to discharge fully at least once a week.
