DELETING NUMBERS FROM MEMORY In order to delete the stored memory, the operation is as follows: 1. Hold down the "CLR" key to clear any entered digits. (If no digit is displayed, this action is not required.)
2. Press the "STO" (STORE) key. The following message is shown:
3. Enter a two (2) digit memory location (01 to 39). The current telephone number (if it exists) is displayed for two (2) seconds. The "overwrite warning tone" will be heard, and the confirmation message will be displayed. (If entered memory location is vacant, the display will show the "01: Empty" message.)

If "* " key is pressed, the current telephone number will be deleted and the display will be changed as indicated below. If "#" key is pressed, the display will be changed to the "Enter Addr." message, allowing a different memory location to be entered. And if the "CLR" or "END" keys are pressed, the delete procedure is canceled and the phone will exit from this mode.
Any other key entries (except for "PWR" key) are ignored and an error tone is heard.
