Why does my phone start beeping when I place
a call?
There are two possible reasons that your phone beeps when powered
up. The Automatic Answer feature or the Automatic Retry feature
may be activated. The beeps are present to alert you to the
fact that one or both of these functions are activated.
1. The Automatic Answer feature will answer an incoming call
if you do not answer it within 10 seconds. To change this function,
Press FCN 5 while in Standby. Next, press the */# keys to enable
or disable Automatic Answer. Finally, Press the END key to save
your setting and to return to the Standby mode. NOTE: Automatic
Answer is disabled when the Keypad Lock is enabled.
2. The Automatic Retry feature will redial a number when the
phone is unable to connect to the cellular system. If the call
does not connect after 10 tries, a Reorder tone sounds and you
must dial again. To access this feature, first press FCN 3 while
in Standby. Retry (ON or OFF) displays. Second, press the *
or # keys to enable or disable this feature. Third, to complete
your selection and exit from this mode press the "STO",
"END", or "CLR" key.

RF output power of this unit is between .06watts and .6 watts
as regulated by the cellular system.

The person that I'm talking to can't hear
me but I can hear them fine, am I doing something wrong?
You may have activated the MUTE option by mistake. Pressing
the "FCN" key and holding it down for more than one
second activates the MUTE function. If the MUTE feature is active,
you will see the word "MUTE" on the top left side
of the display. To deactivate this feature simply press any
key and mute will be cancelled. If you are still experiencing
a problem, your phone may have an internal component problem
and the unit must be sent to a Service Center for evaluation
and possible repair.

My new 1350 mAh NiMH battery is not fully
charging, do I have a defective battery or I'm I doing something
wrong?
Your AH-129 has a timed charging cycle of 2 hours, this feature
was designed to charge the standard and extended life NiCad
batteries. The Nickel Metal Hydrate (NiMH) battery, with it's
longer Standby and Talk times, requires a longer charging cycle
(3.5 hours). This can be accomplished with your AH-129. After
you have charged your HiMH battery for 2 hours simply unplug
your phone from the AC outlet/cigarette socket, remove the battery
for approximately 10 seconds, reinstall the battery and reconnect
the power source. The timed charging circuit built into the
AH-129 will have been reset and will now charge the battery
for an additional 2 hours bringing it's capacity up to a full
and complete charge.
